New build properties proving popular in Marbella
The trend for buyers investing in new build properties on the Costa del Sol remains in its ascent and this type of residence is becoming even more popular as the Spanish real estate market continues to prosper and flourish.
The choice of purchasing a new build property, either completed or off plan, is proving to be a more attractive option with clients of property agents in Marbella and its surrounding region. Seemingly people buying a new or second home in Spain, or those wanting to invest in real estate in the area, are more interested in a modern property than something older or more traditional in style.
The advantages of a brand new villa, apartment or townhouse are clear and definitely beneficial. Firstly and arguably most importantly, these new homes are sold with firm guarantees and normally come with a ten year warranty that provides great peace of mind.
The building standards applied to the development of new homes are far stricter now and this has ensured that brand-new housing is far more energy efficient. These properties are therefore cheaper to run, reduce the household carbon footprint and create additional financial savings in the long term. In addition to helping save the planet, new builds can improve the health of those who suffer from allergies or asthmas, as they invariably offer superior air filtration.
